高知生まれの広島育ち。東京、アメリカと転々とするいわゆる転勤族の家庭で育った私は、自分のルーツを外から眺めることが多い子供でした。大学は京都、社会人は東京や海外で奔走する中で、地元を含めた日本の田舎の底力や魅力を実感するようになりました。

三方よしを信条とする総合商社で育ったこともあり、"価値"に対する強いこだわりを持っています。大小様々な事業や国内外でのお仕事もさせて頂きましたが、共通して言えることは「価値あるものは評価されるべき」だという至極シンプルなものです。

特に地方では、価値があるのに評価されていない、もしくは価値に気づいていないというケースが多くあります。そんな数多あるお宝の魅力を、世の中にお届けするお手伝いを微力ながらできないかという思いで創業しました。

エンチャントという言葉自体は英語で喜ばせる、魅了するという意味もありながら、えん（縁、援、宴）+merchant（商い）の造語や、チームで"円"卓になって"ちゃんと"事業推進するという意味合いも込めた社名です。

本当にニーズがあるかも分からない中でスタートした会社でしたが、社内外皆様のお力添えもあり、行政・企業案件だけではなく、ふるさと納税関連事業・地域商社・外食事業を中心に、自社事業を活用したより迅速で実践的かつ具体的なご提案も出来るようになりました。

安いとか高いという数字の議論だけではなく、その商品やサービス・仕事に関わる人々が喜びや感謝を共感し合えるような商いを一つでも多く創る挑戦をしています。そういった商いの積み重ねが、地域の皆様と本物の"価値"を共創することに繋がると信じて。

Born in Kochi, raised in Hiroshima — and then Tokyo, and America. Growing up in a family that relocated constantly, I was a child who often saw my own roots from the outside. Through university in Kyoto and a career that took me across Japan and overseas, I came to truly appreciate the untapped potential and charm of Japan's rural communities.

Having been trained at a major trading house that upholds the principle of sanpo-yoshi (benefit for all three parties), I developed a deep commitment to the idea of "value." Across projects large and small, domestic and international, one thing has remained constant: what has value deserves to be recognized.

In rural Japan especially, there are countless cases where genuine value goes unrecognized — or where communities themselves haven't yet realized what treasures they hold. I founded this company with the hope of helping bring those hidden gems to the world.

The name "enchant" carries multiple layers of meaning: to delight and captivate in English; a portmanteau of en (縁 connection, 援 support, 宴 gathering) and merchant; and the spirit of sitting at a round table (en-taku) to drive business forward properly (chanto).

What began as a leap of faith has grown — thanks to the support of many — into a company that can offer practical, hands-on solutions through our own ventures in furusato nozei, regional trading, and restaurant operations, alongside public and corporate partnerships.

Beyond the arithmetic of cheap versus expensive, we strive to create commerce where everyone involved can share in genuine joy and gratitude. We believe that accumulating such meaningful work is what truly co-creates authentic value with the people of Japan's regions.
